Octoplay Storms into Alberta with 7 Tier-One Operators Live From Day One

Octoplay has officially launched in Alberta on the first day of the province's regulated iGaming market opening, going live simultaneously with BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings, Betty, Rush Street Interactive, PENN, and bet365. The seven-operator debut marks Octoplay's largest coordinated market entry to date and establishes the studio as one of the first active suppliers in Canada's newest regulated jurisdiction.
The launch follows Octoplay securing a conditional Alberta license in June 2025, well ahead of the market opening, positioning the company among the first studios cleared to operate in the province. Alberta now becomes Octoplay's twentieth regulated market, extending the company's active operational reach across the United Kingdom, New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ontario, Alberta, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Malta, Slovakia, Georgia, and Brazil.

Alberta caps Octoplay's run across North America that began with Ontario in 2023, continued through the United States debut in New Jersey with BetMGM, and expanded further through the December 2025 simultaneous Michigan launch alongside BetMGM, FanDuel, Fanatics, and Rush Street Interactive. With seven tier-one operators live from day one, Alberta becomes Octoplay's fourth active regulated market in the region and marks the studio's strongest state entry to date.
